CATASTROPHIC CARE AT HOME

We specialize in providing the highest level of support and treatment for patients whose lives have been dramatically, and perhaps permanently, altered by life-sustaining injuries. Our dedicated staff, consisting of both skilled and non-skilled home care professionals, is committed to delivering round-the-clock attendant care, skilled nursing, and in-home rehabilitation with licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists. By offering comprehensive services under one roof, we ensure that no aspect of care slips through the cracks, giving our patients the best chance at recovery and a restored quality of life.

One key advantage that sets 1st Call Home Healthcare apart is our utilization of registered nurses in leadership roles overseeing patient care. This strategic decision allows for early detection of any complications or concerns, which can be promptly communicated to the patient's doctor. By providing timely intervention, we can often prevent unnecessary trips to the emergency room, saving our patients both time and stress. Our dedicated nurses serve as vigilant advocates for our patients' well-being, ensuring that they receive the attention and support they need at all times.

MEDICARE - Home Health

Many health care treatments that were once offered only in a hospital or a doctor’s office can now be done in your home. Medicare pays for you to get health care services in your home if you meet certain eligibility criteria and the services are considered reasonable and necessary for the treatment of your illness or injury.

If you are under the care of a doctor or allowed practitioner (including a nurse practitioner (NP), a clinical nurse specialist (CNS), and physician assistant (PA)), and you’re getting services as part of a care plan that your doctor or allowed practitioner established and reviews regularly. And if you need one or more of these:

  • Intermittent skilled nursing care (other than drawing blood)
  • Physical therapy
  • Continued occupational therapy
  • Speech-language pathology services
